Volunteer Opportunities

You can make a difference in the life of a child by giving a few hours of your time. Pathways for Children needs volunteers throughout our programs to help with projects, field trips and to work one on one or with a group of children. Artists, musicians, dancers, theatre groups, storytellers are especially encouraged! There are also opportunities to volunteer your time helping with mailings and other administrative tasks outside the classroom. Tax/Financial Advice: We are currently looking for individuals to assist our self-employed parents with complicated new paperwork requirements from Head Start as well as offer tax advice to our parents.

 

Holiday season "Sponsor a Family" project: The holiday season can be a particularly difficult time financially for some of our families. Our social services staff works hard to identify these families and have them fill out a family 'wish list'. Individuals or organizations help out by fulfilling these lists and Sponsoring that family. If you would like to sponsor or organize a group to sponsor a family, please let us know.
