Pathways Gala
"A Place at the Table"
a Huge Success

Pathways for Children staff and families extend a heartfelt thank you to the many people who helped make our November 2012 gala, "A Place at the Table," a resounding success. The beautiful fire-lit room with ocean views at Cruiseport in Gloucester was thronged by enthusiastic supporters. More than three dozen well-known Cape Ann artists donated commissioned work including sixteen painted Parsons tables and a dozen artfully-decorated wooden trinket boxes. Additionally, fifteen talented Pathways' student artists contributed original paintings that were sold by donation. In a rousing auction presided over by Senator Bruce Tarr, bidding was competitive for the tables. The night ended with a special collection for our scholarship fund. In all $150,000-$200,000 was raised to benefit Pathways programs for children. Special thanks to our dedicated volunteers, who made the gala run smoothly and well.
