Pathways is proud of its diverse, skilled staff, many of whom have significant longevity with the agency. Pathways supports the professional development of its staff and, as result, many hold professional certifications such as licensed social worker, certified pre-school teacher, and lead teacher. Para professionals hold certifications as well, including drivers, kitchen staff, and assistant teachers. Individual staff development plans, as well as tuition support, assist all staff in achieving their professional development goals. Pathways believes that staff should reflect the community being served. As a result, many current and former consumers are employed at Pathways in a variety of roles, and several staff are bi-lingual and bi-cultural.
Staff turnover is low at Pathways, resulting in long term, consistent relationships between staff and children, a hallmark of quality early childhood programming. Perhaps the most important characteristic of Pathways staff is the commitment to families that is demonstrated in every day interactions with children and their caregivers. Experience, skill, dedication and diversity make our staff an extraordinary team.
