Alissa Weinberger, Attorney - MetroWest Legal Services

Alissa is a Staff Attorney at MetroWest Legal Services (MWLS) in Framingham where she represents immigrant youth in removal proceedings. Alissa has over thirteen years of immigration experience in the non-profit sector, as an attorney, BIA accredited representative, and as a paralegal. She has provided direct representation to clients focusing on humanitarian-based forms of immigration relief, such as Asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, family-based immigration, citizenship, and removal defense. She enjoys presenting to community members on a variety of immigration issues. Alissa holds a J.D. from Northeastern University and a Masters in Community Counseling from New Mexico State University.
