Candice Gabrey – Program Manager, Juvenile Justice, PPAL

Candice Gabrey is a mother of five children who lives in Massachusetts.  She received a BA in Criminal Justice with a psychology minor from Curry College.

Candice has been with PPAL for 8 years, first as a Family Support Specialist and currently as Juvenile Justice Program Manager.  Candice came to this work through her lived experience with her own children navigating systems.  All of her children have very different diagnoses and needs. She has developed a passion for kids accessing the right support at the right time. That passion and lived experience along with a degree in Criminal Justice is what pushes her to continue to be an effective advocate for justice-involved families. Keeping youth out of court and in their communities is what she strives to advocate for each and every day.
