Carol Silva – Family Support Specialist, Wayside Youth and Family Network

Carol Silva is a Family Support Specialist at Wayside Youth and Family Network. She is the parent of 2 teenagers, one with Anxiety and the other with ADHD. Prior to Wayside, Carol worked for The Federation for Children with Special Needs as well as in her private practice as an advocate. She has had extensive training in Special Education Laws and Regulations through FCSN, ISEA at William and Mary Law School and SEAT II COPAA. Today she balances her time between privately advocating, presenting workshops on a variety of special education topics, as well as running weekly support groups and IEP clinics for parents of children with mental health and behavioral challenges for Wayside Youth and Family Network.
