Dr. Karla Badillo-Urquiola (Dr. KB) is a Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. As an interdisciplinary Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) expert, Dr. KB investigates technology-driven solutions that empower people and protect the well-being of youth in marginalized communities. She specifically studies the online safety and wellbeing of youth with adverse life experiences and those in need of services.
