Sasheen Hazel– Psychologist, Hazel Approach Psych Services

Sasheen Hazel, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and St. Kitts & Nevis and serves as the Owner & Director of Hazel Approach Psych Services. She specializes in culturally responsive psychological and neuropsychological assessment and trauma-informed care for youth and adults, with a career-long focus on marginalized, underserved, and justice-involved communities. Dr. Hazel has provided evaluation, consultation, and/or expert testimony across DYS, DMH, DDS, Social Security Disability, and both juvenile and adult court systems, and her training includes the Boston Juvenile Court Clinic and Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital. She leads a robust training program that prepares emerging clinicians to work effectively with diverse communities and has taught psychological assessment within the African & Caribbean Mental Health concentration at William James College. Her work is grounded in expanding access to identity-affirming, culturally grounded, and community-centered mental health services.
