Head Start Team: (appropriate for BSW students) family case management, community collaborations, resource sharing, behavior management, some group work, classroom support, and parent engagement activities.

Family Enrichment Program: (BSW and MSW 1 students) individual work through mentoring program, group work (open and closed), program development, community outreach, potential ability to work with individuals who are incarcerated, and opportunity to be trained in the Nurturing Program.

+ Who is eligible?

  • Students enrolled in a BSW or MSW program who need to fulfill their field placement requirement

+ What are the requirements?

  • Reliable transportation and driver’s license

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings

  • Completion of volunteer paperwork which includes a completion of physical and passing of CORI, SORI, DCF and fingerprint clearance
